Ring Ouzel in the net !

Today Esben and Bjørn went at Northbeach for the migration observation with Knud. They saw a lot of Finches and a very nice Black-throated diver (Den sortstrubede) overland. They went to the Cormorant colony and the number of active nests has increase today they saw 25 occupied nests. We will keep going to check on them to see how it is going.

Joakim, Frederik and I went at Kabeltromlen for ringing, we opened the nest at 5:30. This morning of rigging has started very well because we get 2 Ring ouzel (Ringdrossel) on the first round and another one later. We also get to tagged two new Robin (Rødhals) this morning. Michael was also ringing.

This afternoon I went to the antenna to check if there is some Robin who tagged left and I found out that two of them where not see by the antenna anymore but the one we thought wet away yesterday show up again. We will see tomorrow if there are still here!

Joakim and Frederik went out to put the night migration recorder in place for this night. In the meantime, Bjørn went for a walk on town and he saw two Ospreys (Fiskeørn), hoppefully the good number of raptors will arrive soon !
